Eugene Biser

EAST PALESTINE- Eugene Biser, 82, of Bye Rd., passed away at 6:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013 at his home following a battle with cancer.

Mr. Biser was born Dec. 5, 1930 in Calcutta, Ohio a son of the late Carl Anton and Jenni Mildred (Ferguson) Biser.

He retired as a brick maker from Millican Brick Company and was a member of the U.S. Marine Corp.

His wife, Shirley (Donahue) Biser, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Raley of Rogers; sons, Tim Biser of Rogers, Raymond Biser and Gary Biser, both of Philadelphia, Pa., Joe Biser of Negley, and Travis Biser of East Palestine; sisters, Marie McCann of New Brighton, Pa., Dorothy Barnhouse of East Palestine, Margaret Callahan of Cambridge, Ohio, and Ruth Seidner of Columbiana; brother, Frank Biser of East Palestine; 14 grandchildren and 5 great- grandchildren.

Mr. Biser was also preceded in death by his brothers, William and Charles Biser, and sister, Clara Biser.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013 at the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Helbeck officiating. Burial will follow at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
