Columbiana County Sheriff Reports 2-17

February 17, 2013
The Review

Heather Defilippo reported a possible domestic dispute at a home on state Route 170 in Middleton Township at 9:22 a.m. Saturday. The deputy spoke with the woman who lived there, and she said her husband threw her on the bed and held her down by the neck, and then he struck her and pulled her hair. The husband was gone by the time an officer arrived, and the woman was undecided on whether she wanted to press charges.

Sheriff's deputies went to a home on East Lincoln Way, Lisbon, at 8:20 a.m. Saturday, to serve a warrant on Michael Esenwein, who was found on the basement floor hiding under some clothes. Meanwhile, Amanda Wilson gave them permission to search the home and the deputies found stolen property.

Kathy McDaniel, Brookdale Avenue, East Palestine, reported someone tried to break into their home through the back door on Feb. 9.
