MIDLAND - Nellie Maola Ulizio, 97 of Midland, Pa., formerly of East Liverpool, died peacefully Feb. 13, 2013, surrounded by her loving family.
She was employed as a Patterer at Homer Laughlin China for 44 years and she also worked as a beautician.
She is survived by two stepchildren, Therese (Allan) LePage of N.Y., David (Nancy) Ulizio of Midland; a daughter-in-law, RoseAnn Ulizio, Midland; a sister-in-law, Rose Ulizio; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Daniel; seven brothers, Larry, Joseph, Frank, Anthony, John, Domenic, Vince; two sisters, Mary and Violet; and two stepsons, Daniel and Robert.
Special thanks to her dear friends Tony and Gayle, her hospice nurses, Patty and Nancy, and nephew and niece Butch and Judy.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday in the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home, 600 Beaver Ave., Midland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Blaise Church conducted by her pastor, Father Michael Yaksick. Interment will follow at Beaver Cemetery.
