EAST LIVERPOOL - William W. Hill, 69 of East Liverpool, died on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at East Liverpool City Hospital following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Lisbon on Aug. 27, 1943, to the late William R. and Mary Elizabeth Hirst Hill.
He retired from the decorating shop at Hall China where he had worked for 32 years.
Formerly of Salineville, William was a member of the Salineville United Methodist Church, a graduate of the Salineville High School and a former member of the Salineville Volunteer Fire Department.
Preceding him in death was a brother, Robert Hill, and his daughters-in-law, Loretta Hill and Michelle Hirst.
Surviving is his wife, Suzanne Badgley Hill; his sons, Shawn Hill of East Liverpool, and Darrin Hirsh of Salem; his daughters, Helen Hill and her companion Everett Ramsey of Salem, and Loretta Bebout and her fiancee, James Carroll of East Liverpool; a sister-in-law, Barbara Hill of East Liverpool; several grandchildren; his great-grandson, Hayden Harsh; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Saturday from 1-3 pm. The Rev. Pat Smith of the church will conduct services at 3 p.m. Interment will take place at Riverview Cemetery at a later date.
