Patricia Davis
EAST PALESTINE - Patricia Davis, 89, formerly of Moore Lane, passed away at 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Boardman Campus, where she had been a patient for the past few days.
Mrs. Davis was born Feb. 8, 1924 in East Palestine, a daughter of the late Angus Patrick and Susanna Call Gillis. She was a graduate of East Palestine High School, and had been employed as a sales clerk with the former Morris Golden Dawn, and later Rukenbrod's Market.
She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church
Her husband, Arthur D. Davis, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Davis is survived by three daughters, Regina Altenburg, New Waterford, Mary Davis, East Palestine, and Patty Chamberlain, Columbiana; and two sons, A. John Davis, Garrettsville, and Paul Davis, Columbiana, with whom she made her home. She also leaves a sister, Suzanne Hause, Lisbon, and two brothers, Raymond Gillis, Houston, Texas and Peter Gillis, Calif.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15th, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Burial will follow in Glenview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
