EAST LIVERPOOL The Church of God, Eturia Street, is selling hand-dipped Easter candy. Flavors are chocolate, white chocolate and peanut butter. Walk-ins welcome and layaways available. Call 330-385-0201 or stop in 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

EAST LIVERPOOL - The East Liverpool High School Class of 1945 will meet 10 a.m. Thursday at Hoge's.

WELLSVILLE - Elks 1040 will have a fish dinner 4:30-8 p.m. Friday.

EAST LIVERPOOL - The Moose Lodge will have bingo Friday. Doors open at 5 p.m., early bird begins at 6:30 p.m. with regular at 7 p.m. A Lenten fish fry is the kitchen feature. Takeout available.

NEWELL - The Lion's Lent fish fry is 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday. Cost is $5 for fish sandwich or $8 for fish dinner (sandwich, fries and coleslaw). All sides $2 each. Eat-in or carryout. Call 304-387-3413 to place order. Delivery available with minimum order.

EAST LIVERPOOL - Ozer Ministries will provide material on domestic violence awareness program "Love Shouldn't Hurt" from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the Carnegie Library in East Liverpool. NEW CUMBERLAND - The John D. Rockefeller Career Center is now accepting applications for the LPN program. The program will begin Aug. 2013 and end in June of 2014. Applications are available on-line at jdrcc.org or may be picked up in the Career Center's office. The deadline is April 30, 2013. Financial aid is available. EAST LIVERPOOL - A benefit dinner will be held for Johnny Speece (who was burned in an explosion caused by a chainsaw) from 4-7 p.m. Feb. 23 at the Lisbon Eagles.

The menu is all you can eat homemade salisbury steak.

The No. 1 Special band will perform from 8 p.m. to midnight. Cash bar available.

Tickets can be purchased in advance for $6 adults and $3 for children ages 5-10. Children 4 and under, free. Tickets at the door will be $7 for adults and $4 for ages 5-10. Take outs available.

There will be a $3 cover charge for attending without dinner.

A 50/50 raffle and a Chinese Auction will be offered. Any donated items for the auction will be appreciated.
