Columbiana County Sheriff Reports for 2-10

Deputies went to a Hanoverton home where a 7-year-old was reported home alone at 10:20 p.m. Thursday. The mother was found there and claimed her 7-year-old and 6-year-old were not home alone while she was gone. Their father had been there asleep.

Adam Little, state Route 558, Leetonia, reported at 8:22 p.m. Thursday his wife got out of jail and began leaving messages and threats like "you're going to be sorry." Deputies attempted to call her, but were told by the woman who returned the call that the person they left the message for no longer lives there.

Lucy Oneil, Fairfield School Road, Columbiana, reported at 6:57 p.m. Thursday she attempted to get money from her bank account and then learned there was no money in the account. She found 26 transactions totaling $1,081 missing from her account, payed through PayPal into several accounts from an address in San Jose, Calif.

Eugene Williams, state Route 45, Lisbon, reported hearing gunshots near his home at 10:52 a.m. Saturday. A deputy checked the area and found no one shooting.

Britney Dunlap, West School Street, East Rochester, reported at 9:52 p.m. Friday her husband's ex-girlfriend Sherry Sailing was calling the home multiple times a day and wouldn't stop. A deputy spoke to Sailing who said she did not make the phone calls and that the Dunlaps were making trouble for her unnecessarily. She was then advised that if she was making the phone calls criminal charges could be filed.

A bartender at Mark's Landing reported at 8:21 p.m. Friday a patron was highly intoxicated and yelling and cursing as her. A deputy spoke to the man and found he was highly intoxicated and gave him a ride home. He was warned charges could be filed if it happened again.

Guy Michaels, Pancake Clarkson Road, Negley, reported at 11 a.m. Thursday he was threatened by his 90-year-old father-in-law who lives in a house at the end of his driveway.
