In Municipal Court Thursday, a man originally arrested as John Doe but now identified as Shannon Hinton, 23, Cleveland, appeared before acting Judge Timothy Brookes.
Hinton was sentenced to 10 jail days, each, on charges of falsification, obstructing official business and furnishing false information to avoid a citation. He was granted four days credit for time already served in the county jail.
Once Hinton's jail time is completed here, he will be returned to Cuyahoga County, where he is wanted as a witness in another case.
Aaron W. Patterson, 33, Dresden Avenue, was fined $250, sentenced to 90 days, 40 suspended, and placed on probation two years for public indecency. For disorderly conduct/intoxication, he was fined $100.
A domestic violence charge was amended to disorderly conduct against Timothy N. Redman, 28, Erie Street, who was fined $150 and sentenced to 30 days, 22 suspended. For resisting arrest, he was fined $200, sentenced to 90 days, 80 suspended, and placed on probation two years for resisting arrest. He was granted eight days credit for jail time already served.
James L. Beebout, 42, Densmore Avenue, was fined $150 and sentenced to 10 jail days for theft, second offense.
A domestic violence charge was amended to disorderly conduct against Heather D. Shreve, 25, Minerva Street, who was fined $150, sentenced to 30 days, 29 suspended, and placed on probation two years. She was granted one day credit for time served.
William J. McKenzie, 23, Newell, W.Va., was fined $150, sentenced to 30 days, 28 suspended, and placed on probation two years for theft, with 20 hours of community service imposed in lieu of the fine.
Amanda E. Wright, 27, Stuart Road, was fined $150, sentenced to 30 days, 29 suspended, and placed on probation two years for obstructing official business.
On a fourth theft offense, Justin D. Johnson, 30, Bradshaw Avenue, was sentenced to 60 jail days.
Benjamin Persohn, 32, Stewart Road, was sentenced to 90 jail days for petty theft.
A jury trial was scheduled April 18 for Deena K. Peverley, 42, Georgetown, Pa., charged with theft.
A trial was set March 7 for Ronnie J. Delguzzo, 18, Wilbert Avenue, charged with endangering children.
Pretrials were scheduled for Merle C. Schreffler, 36, state Route 172, Hanoverton, charged with failure to comply, resisting arrest, driving under suspension and possession of marijuana, Feb. 14; Daniel Morris, 31, Marcum Street, telecommunications harassment, Feb. 26; and Chelsey D. Beebout, 24, Oakwood Street, obstructing official business and intoxication, Feb. 28.
