Kelly S. Ketchum, Gavers Road, Hanoverton, was stopped in traffic at the intersection of South Market and Washington streets at 7:36 a.m. Wednesday when her vehicle was struck in the rear by an SUV driven by Robert S. Duncan, State Street, Salineville. Damage was minimal.
Police were asked Wednesday to serve an arrest warrant on Christine Tice, North Market Street, who was wanted in Harrison County. Tice was taken into custody and transferred to the county jail.
A sheriff's deputy asked an officer to accompany him to serve an arrest warrant at a West Chestnut Street residence at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The person was not found there.
A clerk at Smith Oil reported someone in a white vehicle left without paying for $25 in gas at 11:19 a.m. Wednesday. The motorist returned and paid his bill.
Angel Fox called at 7:43 p.m. Wednesday to report there was a male walking down the middle of Maple Street.
Charlene, the desk clerk at the Days Inn, called at 2:19 a.m. Thursday seeking assistance after the door closed behind her after she took out the trash, locking herself out.
