WELLSVILLE - A community Chili or Potato Soup Dinner to benefit Mission Wellsville will be from 4-7 p.m. Saturday at the First Christian Church, 831 Main Street. The menu consists of chili or potato soup, cornbread, salad, beverage and dessert. Donation is $5. Carry-out is avaliable.
EAST LIVERPOOL - The Moose Lodge will resume bingo Friday. Doors open at 5 p.m., early bird begins at 6:30 p.m. followed by regular bingo at 7 p.m. Open to the public, 18 and older. A full kitchen menu is available, with takeout.
CHESTER - Tickets will go on sale Tuesday, Feb. 19, for the next two public concerts sponsored by the Oak Glen Middle School Culture Club. Lindsay Lou and the Flatbellys will perform on the OGMS stage, Tuesday, March 19. The World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra will appear on Tuesday, April 16.
Advance tickets for Lindsay Lou and the Flatbellys are priced at $5 for students and $8 for adults. All tickets will be $10 at the door. Advance tickets for the World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra will be $21. At the door, any available tickets will be $24. There will be a special group rate of $19 per ticket (minimum ten / not to exceed twenty).
A combination rate is available for those purchasing tickets for both events by subtracting $3 from the total cost of the two event tickets. Checks should be made payable to the OGMS Culture Club. No mail orders will be accepted. Tickets may be purchased at the school from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday, or through arrangements made by calling 304-374-7474.
CHESTER - The VFW Post 6450 Men's Auxiliary Lenten Fish will begin Friday and continue throughout the Lenten season. Fish will be served from 4-7 p.m. each Friday at the Post.
WELLSVILLE - The WHS Class of "68" will meet 6 p.m. Saturday, Alumni Center.
