Permon J. Anderson, 86
NEW CUMBERLAND-Permon J. Anderson, 86, of New Cumberland, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013.
He was born on May 5, 1926 in Hundred, W.Va., a son of the late William and Clara Carpenter Anderson.
Permon was a Veteran of the United States Army and a retired motor inspector at Weirton Steel.
In addition to his parents, his wife, Mary Anderson; a son, James Anderson; a daughter, Deborah Anderson; and several brothers and sisters preceded him in death.
Surviving are his son, John Douglas (Penny) Anderson of Newell; three grandchildren, Karen Anderson of Newell, Chad Anderson of New Cumberland, Brian Anderson of Salineville; four great-grandchildren, Victoria, Kylie, Katelyn and Mariah; a brother, Robert Anderson and a sister, Virginia Simpson both of Hundred, W.Va.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the Nixon Funeral Home in Newell, with funeral services at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8, 2013.
Burial will follow at Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens, Newell, W.Va.
