At 10:41 a.m. January 25 police responded to a report of a two vehicle hit skip crash on East Main Street east of State Route 164. An officer located the hit skip vehicle in the Saline Oil parking lot. Police identified hit skip driver Ray Callahan of Salineville. Callahan was charged with OVI, Hit Skip and Failure. All three occupants of the other vehicle involved in the crash claimed injury. Two declined treatment and one was transported to the Salem Emergency Room.
At 3:05 p.m. January 24 a Foundry Hill road man reported his girlfriend left and did not return on January 18 between 2:30 and 2:45 p.m.
At 10:27 p.m. January 25 police arrested Angela Rush, 54 Washington Street, on an outstanding arrest warrant out of Columbiana County. She was released into the custody of the Columbiana County Sheriffs Department.
At 8:10 p.m. January 24 police responded to a West Water Street residence for a complaint of screaming and fighting in the front yard. Police arrived and found no trouble.
