Salineville Police Reports for 2-2

The Review

On Tuesday at 6:57 p.m. officers responded to a report of an unruly child and a possible fight at an East Main Street residence. Both issues were resolved and the parties involved were sent on their prospective ways.

At 3:35 p.m. Tuesday police received a report of a work truck parked in the roadway on North Alley Street. The caller who reported the truck stated that the driver of the truck exited the vehicle , got into a green jeep and left Monday. The caller declined to give her name to the Lisbon Dispatch.

An employee at BK Beverage, West Main Street, reported Monday that a known individual had shoplifted from the business over the weekend. The employee wanted a report on file.

At 8:54 p.m. January 27 an officer responded to an East Main Street residence for a report of a person in need of medical attention. Upon the officer's arrival the individual was awake and responding but not making complete sentences. The officer stayed with the individual until first responders arrived.

At 5:18 p.m. January 25 Police stopped a vehicle on State Route 164 near Haiti Road and found that the vehicle's license plates were stolen. Police arrested Hasper O. Leggette, Niles, OH, for receiving stolen property and transported him to the Columbiana County Jail.

At 6:47 p.m. January 24 police responded to a complaint of a broken water main on Salineville Road West. Police marked the roadway for safety and the water department was notified

Bob Lemasters, East Main Street, advised police at 3:44 p.m. Tuesday that he opened his car door and his brown boxer dog ran away. Police advised him that if they see the dog they will contact him.

At 8:23 p.m. Monday police arrested Jonathan H. White, State Street Salem , on an outstanding arrest warrant out of Carroll County, following a traffic stop on Washington St. He was released to the custody of Carroll County Sheriff's office.

At 10:10 a.m. on Monday a Hazel Run Road resident reported that someone had broken into Salineville Carryout sometime during the night. The caller reported that entry had been made through the front door and several items had been taken.

On January 20 police responded to a Lincoln St. residence for a burglary complaint. Complainant advised police that someone entered their unlocked residence and stole a lap top. The matter is under investigation.

At 9:15 p.m. January 27 police responded to a Water Street residence on a domestic complaint on arrival found no signs of a domestic occurrence. An officer called the phone number that was left with the dispatcher and it was no longer in service.
