COLUMBUS - Norma Jean Lowers, 73, of Columbus, formerly of Newell, passed away Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born Oct. 29, 1939, in Randolph County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Harry and Locie Thorne Rennix.
Norma was a retired Financial Controller for PNC Bank .
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stuart Lowers; a daughter, Teri Ibbs; and two brothers, Don and Ron Rennix.
She leaves behind her loving family, a daughter, Debbie (Jay) Jones of Newark, Delaware; three grandchildren, Amanda, Julie, Jay; one great-grandson, Chance Ripley; a sister, Sue Choina of Columbus; and a brother, Tom Rennix of South Carolina.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at the Nixon Funeral Home in Newell.
