Doris Jane Theiss, 79
FOLLANSBEE, W.Va. - Doris Jane Theiss, 79, passed away on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013 at the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
She was born Nov. 27, 1933, in Follansbee. She was a daughter of the late Grady and Catherine Rees Matthews.

Doris graduated from the Follansbee High School in 1951. She was a member of the Westminster United Presbyterian Church and was involved with Westminster Crafters and serving Christian woman's dinners at The Orchard's at Fox Crest .
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert P. Theiss; and her sister Dorothy Jean Durst.
Surviving are her son Robert (Robin) Theiss of East Liverpool; two daughters, Lori Guthrie of East Liverpool and Susan (Ed) Harless of Chester and three grandchildren, Bobbie Ann and Drew Theiss and Sarah Guthrie.
Rev.Katrina Lewis of the Westminster United Presbyterian Church will celebrate Doris' life at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1 at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester.
