The Review

Gray Montague of McKees Rocks, Pa., said he was driving on Race Road at the intersection of state Route 517 at 12:25 p.m. Friday when a car driven by Tylor Almy of Wellsville began to make a left turn. Montague tried to stop but slid into Almy's car. No citations were listed.

The security alarm at the county elections board went off at 4:15 p.m. Friday, but the building was found to be secure.

A clerk at Smith Oil reported a motorist in a truck pulling a trailer drove off without paying for $50 in gasoline at 9:47 a.m. Saturday.

Fay Gordon, South Lincoln Avenue, reported at 7 p.m. Saturday her boyfriend hit her in the face before leaving, but she declined to press charges because she just wanted him to leave her alone. The officer attempted to contact the boyfriend, Tim Hicks, but was unable.

Amy Martin, Sherman Street, reported at 10 p.m. Saturday her neighbors parked their vehicle in a way that blocked her vehicle. Police contacted the owners, and the vehicles were moved without incident.

April Frantz, North Market Street, called at 2:50 a.m. Sunday there was someone turning the knobs on her back door. She called back 16 minutes later to say the person was Dan Desellem, who was screaming through the window that he was going to kill her. The dispatcher could hear screaming over the phone, and police arrived and found Desellem at the back door. Desellem, who was believed to have been drinking, was arrested for disorderly conduct after he was told several times to quit yelling.
