SALEM-Alice Mae Bischoff, 90, of Salem, and formerly of Beaver Falls, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, in Essex of Salem III in Salem.
Born May 4, 1922, in Beaver, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Lester and Emma (Lovetta) Shields and wife of the late Wilbert A. Bischoff. She had been a member of the Ellwood City Free Methodist Church where she had been very active.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Elaine Haddad, and a son, Edward A. Bischoff.
Surviving are a granddaughter Tara Hubert and her husband Will, Canal Fulton, Ohio; a son-in-law, Bruce Haddad and his wife Luann, Salem; a great-grandson, Liam Hubert at home; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Richard and Betty Bischoff, Beaver Falls, Paul and Patricia Bischoff, Beaver Falls; the Rev. James and Carol Bischoff, Holiday, Fla., Robert and Fran Bischoff, Youngstown, Ohio, Shirley and James Campbell, New Brighton, Esther and Robert Bally, Elsah, Ill. and Ruth and Rick Osman, Greer, S.C.
Friends will be received on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the Campbells Chippewa Funeral Home, 2618 Darlington Road, where funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. Officiating is Pastor Norman Eckert of the Beechwood Free Methodist Church of East Liverpool.
Interment will be private.
