Darlene L. Burgess, 61
WELLSVILLE - Darlene L. Burgess, 61, of Wellsville, passed away Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013.
She was born Jan. 4, 1952, in Cambridge, Ohio, the daughter of the late Leonard and Lucille (Evans) Reed.
Darlene graduated from Wellsville High School in 1970. She worked at the former Holiday Inn at the Waterford Park Racetrack during high school and then at Riverview Florist in East Liverpool. She last worked for the former Prescription Shoppe in Wellsville.
Survivors include her husband, William S. "Bill" Burgess, whom she married April 10, 1971; and her son, William Burgess and his wife Dawn of Rootstown, Ohio. Also surviving is her beloved pet, Homer.
Friends may call on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
To honor Darlene's wishes, no funeral service is planned.
