Pearl R. Quarterman, 77
EAST LIVERPOOL-Pearl R. Quarterman, 77 of East Liverpool passed away peacefully on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 at the home of her daughter with her loving family at her side.
Pearl was born on Feb. 23, 1935 in Parkersburg, W.Va.; to the late Charles Chipps and Gertrude Thompson Chipps Stull.

A homemaker and protestant by faith, she was kept very busy raising her large family. Pearl was an ardent animal lover, caring for several cats and dogs.
Preceding her in death were her husband, James F. Quarterman; a son, James B. Quarterman; a daughter, Virginia Hutchinson; a grandson, Scott Quarterman; brothers, Charles Chipps Jr., and James Boyd Chipps; sisters, Betty Stull, Dorothy Caldwell, and Virginia Chipps, a daughter-in-law, Kathryn Quarterman, and her sister-in-law who she raised, Wilma Quarterman.
She leaves her daughters, Ila (Dave) Tice, Linda (Daniel Sr.) Carroll, Sandy (Andrew II) Durk, Mary Quarterman, and Cindy (Allen) Smith all of East Liverpool, Betty Quarterman and companion James Edward Beaver of Akron; Loretta Stoffel and companion Bruce Lopes of Wellsville; and Crystal Lawson of East Liverpool; sons, Floyd Quarterman and companion Sally Riggle, Roger Quarterman and companion Mary Jane Coleman, and David (Lisa) Quarterman all of East Liverpool, her faithful K-9 companion Chipper, as well several nieces and nephews.
Pastor Mike Tyree of the Church of God in East Liverpool will celebrate Pearls life on Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 1:00 p.m. at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester. Interment will follow at Columbiana County Memorial Park. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Monday from 6-8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.
