Carol Evans
MOBILE, Ala. - Carol Jean Evans, 63, of Mobile, Ala. and a former resident of Lisbon, passed away at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013 in her home following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Evans was born April 21, 1949 in East Liverpool, the daughter of Carroll G. Pickens and Janell C. Pickens. She had been employed as a behavior coach at Beaver Local Middle School before retiring. She was a member of the Elkton United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, James A. Evans, Sr., of Mobile, Ala.; a daughter, Tamara J. Evans, of Mobile, Ala.; a son, James Evans Jr.; Saundra Hall, Marlene Stewart, brothers, Charles Art and Adam Mark Pickens, all of Lisbon; and three grandchildren.
A memorial tribute will be held in Lisbon at a date to be determined and arrangements are being handled by Ascentions Funeral Home in Mobile, Ala.
