Shirley Barrett
JEFFERSON - Shirley Jean Barrett, 72, of Jefferson, passed away at 5:06 p.m., Thursday, Jan.17, 2013 at the University Hospital of Cleveland.
Ms. Barrett was born May 24, 1940 in St. Mary's, W.Va., a daughter of the late Earl C. and Nancy Elizabeth (Schultz) Hooper.
She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her sons, John Barrett of Reynoldsburg, Ohio and Mark Barrett of Wanatah, Ind.; and a sister, Nancy Broomall of Columbia, S.C.; brother, E. Kenneth Hooper of Huntsburg, Ohio; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Barrett.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Broomall officiating. Burial will follow in the Lisbon Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of services Tuesday at the funeral home.
