Ruby L. Wright, 86

EAST LIVERPOOL - Ruby L. Wright, 86, of East Liverpool, was Promoted to Glory Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at Calcutta Health Care Center with her family at her side.

She was born Jan. 13, 1927, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Purle and Florence (Wolf) Clutter.

Ruby graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1944. She was a lifelong member of the East Liverpool Salvation Army, where she was also a member of the Older Americans. She had been a member of the Ladies Home League of the Salvation Army since 1959, where she had fifty years of perfect attendance. She was a member of Area Seniors at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, and she was an avid card and dominoes player with her friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Survivors include three daughters: Marta Schrieber and her companion Nancy Coleman of East Liverpool, Corinne Powell of East Liverpool, and Rebecca Michael of East Liverpool; two sisters: Jeanne Shreeve and Shirley Gallagher, both of East Liverpool; and two brothers: Jack Clutter and Walter Lunger, both of East Liverpool. Also surviving are nine grandchildren: Terry Michael, Charlotte Michael, Melissa "Missy" Brewer, John (Kelly) Schrieber, Nicole (Sean) Fitch, Amanda (Jason) Wallace, Matthew (Bobbie Jo) Schrieber, Erik Powell and his fiancee Krista Vallera, and Ashley (Jacob) Porter, as well as twenty-two great-grandchildren.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband of forty-two years: John "Jack" Wright; two sisters: Flora Mae Miller and Margaret Radeschi; and one brother: Robert Clutter.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the East Liverpool Salvation Army, 413 East Fourth Street, with Gary and Corina Stein and Majors Doug and Stella McGuire officiating .

Burial will follow in Columbiana County Memorial Park.

Friends may call from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that donations be made in Ruby's name to the Ladies Home League of the East Liverpool Salvation Army, 413 East Fourth Street, East Liverpool, OH 43920.
