Columbiana County Sheriff Reports 1-17

Wynonna Adams, Buffalo Road, Hanoverton, reported at 2:05 p.m. Monday someone stole the electric fence around 20 acres of property. She valued the stolen T posts and three lines of electric wire per post at $1,200.

Shawna Crews, 16 School Road, Wellsville, reported at 12:15 p.m. Monday someone stole the rear license plate from her vehicle.

Dick Cameron, Trinity Church Road, Hanoverton, reported at 3:49 p.m. Tuesday he found a suspicious 50-gallon drum off the side of the road near his driveway. The drum was sealed and full of some type of substance. The Hanover Township Fire Department was notified.

Tracy Blair, Center Avenue, Negley, reported at 9:13 p.m. Tuesday children in the roadway on state Route 170 south of East Palestine. There were no children out when deputies arrived.

Luke Newbold, Clarks Mill Road, Hammondsville, reported at 10:19 p.m. Tuesday he and his wife were arguing and decided to call deputies before things got worse. They both agreed there would be no further problems for the night.

Donna Mulhern, Summit Drive, Calcutta, reported at 4:12 p.m. Tuesday, there was a person slumped over in a vehicle on state Route 45 near Bell Plumbing in Center Township. Deputies did not find anyone matching the description.
