Donald W. Staymate, 30, no address listed, was charged with theft Monday after reportedly trying to return stolen meat to Giant Eagle.
Charges are pending in Juvenile Court against several people after police were called to a business on state Route 170 for a person who had followed several car loads of juveniles who were seen smashing mailboxes and signs throughout the county. The person blocked in the cars at the business and called police. Information was forwarded to Juvenile Court for charges.
Katie Mattern, Calcutta-Smith Ferry Road, reported her garage broken into but nothing missing.
Officers were called to 14990 Sprucevale Road for a theft investigation, with no other details reported.
Damage to mailboxes and a fence were reported on Bell School Road.
Mandy A. Davison, Wyoming Avenue, reported her tires flattened, possibly by the estranged wife of the man she is dating, who she said won't leave them alone. She was advised to contact the law director about filing charges.
Julie May called to request a person removed from her property on state Route 170, but a person there showed officers court papers indicating Alan May has exclusive right to the property. May was advised to contact her attorney if she does not agree with the court order. According to reports, she had been advised the same thing earlier in the day when she made a similar complaint.
