Joyce Ann Howell, 68

WELLSVILLE - Lifelong area resident Joyce Ann Howell, 68, of Chester Avenue in Wellsville, passed away Monday, Jan. 14, 2013 at the Calcutta Health Care Center.

She was born in East Liverpool on June 10, 1944 and was a daughter of the late Charles "Bud" and Vera Pickens Watson. Joyce was a lifetime area resident and homemaker who was known for her pumpkin rolls and banana bread.

She is survived by three daughters, Jana Howell and her fiance Mark Chenoweth, Kinda Martin and her husband Andy, and Goldie Howell, all of Wellsville. There are two sons, Stacey Howell and his wife Judy, of Calcutta, and Todd Sullivan and his wife Giovanna, of Wellsville.

Joyce is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Elaina and Emily Howell, Bobby, Eric and Mathugh Sullivan, Kylee Howell and Levi Boley, Seth, Jayla and Kinley Martin, and Jasmine Coles. Also surviving are a brother, Buddy Watson of Chicago, and a stepsister, Chicky Boso of Alliance, Ohio, and her two dogs Dudley and Theo. Preceding her in death are a sister, Margie Cowey, and a brother Larry Watson.

Services will be held at the Dawson Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday with the Rev. Joseph Cilone of the United Brethren in Christ Church. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
