Columbiana County Sheriff Reports for 1-14

Grace Moore, address not listed, reported at noon Sunday Virginia Mills told her she was assaulted by a man at her home in Knox Township. A deputy spoke with Mills who said she was not assaulted that day, but was telling Moore about an incident that happened awhile back.

Ray Hawk, Walnut Street, Rogers, reported at 3:34 p.m. Saturday people were trespassing on his Yeager Road property in Negley. He said his mother was at the property and a man attempted to hit her with the truck he was driving while attempting to leave the driveway. Deputies searched for the vehicles but did not find them. Nothing was found to be missing from the property.

Deputies went to a Depot Road, Lisbon, home at 7:32 p.m. Saturday on a welfare check request from a woman in Virginia Beach, Va. Deputies were unable to contact the man and woman at the home but could hear a TV on inside.

Thomas Mobley, Main Street, North Georgetown, reported at 7:16 p.m. Saturday he was threatened by Kyle Thrasher and wanted to press charges. Deputies attempted to locate Thrasher but couldn't.

Marcus Schrecengost, Depot Road, Salem, reported at 10 p.m. Saturday someone attempted to break into his home.

Melissa Dugan, state Route 30, Lisbon, reported at 6:29 p.m. Saturday someone possibly hacked her phone because when a friend called a man named "Isaac" answered.

Joel Hively, state Route 7, New Waterford, reported at 3:40 p.m. Saturday explosives could be heard in the area. Deputies checked the area which was part of a well site, but found no one there and no sign of explosives.
