Pastor Harry Leamer
SALEM-Pastor Harry Robert Leamer, 62, of Salem, Ohio, formerly of Patchenville, Pa., died at 2:52 p.m. Wednesday at Salem Community Hospital.
He was born on July 4, 1950 in Cambria County, Pa., son of the late Benjamin E. and Mary E. (Wilson) Leamer Sr.
He previously served as the pastor of the Geneva Pilgrim Chapel in Geneva, Pa.. He was a member of the Pleasant View Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church in Cherry Tree, Pa.
He is survived by his wife, the former Lucinda A. White, a daughter Charlotte Dawn Leamer, his siblings, Jean Schirf of Homer City, Pa., Isabel Deyarmin of Cherry Tree, Pa., Gladys Carol Anderson of Apollo, Pa., Lois Misner of Cherry Tree, Pa., Earl Leamer Jr. of Ala., Alvin Bruce Leamer of Mich., John Leamer of Cherry Tree, Pa. and Samuel Ray Leamer of Del.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, 11:30 a.m. at the Pleasant View AWM Church, Indiana County, Pa. The Rev. Donald Carpenter of the Church will officiate with the Rev. Robert Thornton of the Luciusboro AWM Church assisting.
The burial service will be held one hour after the funeral service at the Lutheran Chapel / Lutheran Cemetery, Coral, Pa.
A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, 2-4 p.m. and from 6 - 8 p.m. at the church in Cherry Tree and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
The Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral Home, Salem, Ohio is in charge of the arrangements and services.
