Joy Lynn Edmond, 56
EAST LIVERPOOL- Joy Lynn Edmond, 56, of East Liverpool, passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, after a battle with cancer.
She was born Dec. 29, 1956 in East Liverpool, Ohio, a daughter of the late Daniel and Patsy Bolton Allen Sr.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Brittany Lease and a brother, Ronald Allen.
Surviving are two sons, Jamie Allen of Chester, and Robert Edmond of Wellsville; two daughters, Jennifer Eastman of East Liverpool, Denise Edmond of Missouri; a stepson, William Show of East Liverpool; twenty grandchildren; two sisters, Sandy Allen and Margaret (Scott) Tanner both of East Liverpool; four brothers, Daniel (Linda) Allen Jr, Charles Allen Sr., Carl "Tom" Allen, Dale "Frank" (Kim)Allen all of East Liverpool; her companion, Kenneth Show of East Liverpool; and by her first husband, Dennis Edmond of Wellsville.
Visitation will be held from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m on Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at the Nixon Funeral Home in Newell, with funeral services at 7 p.m. Pastor George White will officiate.
