In Municipal Court Tuesday, a domestic violence charge was amended to disorderly conduct against Christopher B. Straight, 41, Pennsylvania Avenue after the alleged victim refused to prosecute. He was fined $250, sentenced to 30 days, 24 suspended, and placed on two years probation, with the jail time to be served consecutively with a contempt of court sentence previously handed down by Judge Melissa Byers Emmerling. The judge ordered that Straight pay all fines and costs through his attorney and is not to come to her court clerk's office.
Charles E. Walker, 23, McKinnon Avenue, was bound over to county Common Pleas Court for assault on a police officer, with surety bond of $20,000 continued. A jury trial was scheduled in Municipal Court Feb. 21 on charges of resisting arrest and obstructing official business.
James D. Heath, 20, Dyke Road, Rogers, was bound over to county Common Pleas Court on a breaking and entering charge, with cash/surety bond set at $2,500.
Scott Chaffee, 19, College Street, was bound over to county Common Pleas Court for breaking and entering, with cash/surety bond set at $2,500.
A jury trial was scheduled Feb. 21 for Linda L. Endrizzi, 50, State Line Road, Negley, charged with driving under suspension and failure to control.
A second pretrial was set Jan. 10 for Jonathan Gardner, 21, Wilbert Avenue, charged with criminal damaging, with cash/surety bond set at $15,000.
