LENNYVILLE, W.Va. - Vincent E. Camerlin, 83, of Lennyville, passed away, Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013.
He was born Jan. 2, 1930, in Pittsburgh, Pa., a son of the late Robert and Inez Sutton Camerlin.
Vince formerly worked in the maintenance dept. at Mountaineer Race Track; he was an independent owner and operator of a semi-truck and a race horse owner. He was a hard worker and loved the outdoors; and an avid hunter and fisherman.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard "Dick" Camerlin; and a sister, Joan Miller.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia Warwick Camerlin of New Cumberland; three sons, Joseph (Linda) Camerlin of Texas, Edward Camerlin of Friendly, W.Va., and Paul Camerlin of Sistersville, W.Va.; a daughter, Betty (Stanley) Craven of Friendly, W.Va.; and a stepson, Michael Walton (Georgia) Graves of Arizona; four stepdaughters, Cindy (Patrick) Dishong of Ohio, Kathleen (Bill) Hibbert, Terry Lemley, and Pamela Romanakis all of Washington, Pa.; 20 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; a brother, Wayne Camerlin of Newell; and three sisters, Norma LaScola of Chester, Priscilla Kirkwood of Lennyville and Shirley Widener of Wisconsin.
Private funeral arrangements were handled by the Nixon Funeral Home in Newell.
