Trese M. Hrnek

CHESTER-Mrs. Trese M. Hrnek went home to be with God on the Epiphany of the Lord, Jan. 6, 2013, at The Orchards at Foxcrest in Chester, W.Va. She was born on Nov. 4, 1912, in Bannister, Michigan, a daughter of the late Andrew Husser and Katerina (Studnic) Husser. She had celebrated her 100th birthday with a surprise party just two months ago.

Trese was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, William F. Hrnek on Jan. 27, 1998. They were married on April 10, 1937 in Erie, Pennsylvania. Her daughter, Maria T. Templeton, and siblings Victor, Martin, William, James, Marie and Anna also preceded her in death.

She is survived by her adoptive families at The Orchards at Foxcrest and Sacred Heart Catholic Church who cared for and loved her until the end. She will be remembered for her unconditional love for everyone for whom she had contact and for her faith in the goodness of God.

Trese had been employed at one time at the Metz Fur Company in East Liverpool, Ohio. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Chester since 1949.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be con-celebrated by Rev. Father Eric Antwi and Rev. Father Lino Ebejer on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at the Columbiana County Memorial Cemetery in East Liverpool, Ohio.

Friends will be received at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, from 3-5 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 3:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions for Trese may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Chester, W.Va.
