Christopher Lykens, 39, Smith Road, Summitville, was charged Friday night with domestic violence after his wife, Gloria Lykens, 22, reported he assaulted her then left the residence. He returned and was taken into custody by deputies.
Jack McFarland, Metz Road, New Waterford, was reported missing Saturday night, and deputies checked the areas of Brookdale and New Waterford roads with the East Palestine Fire Department and EMS. A neighbor found him and took him home.
Sharon Gentry, Grant Street, Lisbon, reported a vehicle pulled out of a lane onto Grant Street, spinning its tires and throwing gravel, which hit the residence and broke the window of a Ford Explorer.
Kim Landy reported two blankets stolen and puddles of melted wax thrown on the floor at the Frola Motel on state Route 45.
Ryan Hargreaves of RMH Services, Lisbon, reported Friday being harassed by a former employee he had fired Wednesday. Deputies spoke to the former employee and cautioned him against contacting Hargreaves or other employees, and he agreed to desist.
Deputies responded Saturday night to Rogers Community Auction on state Route 154 in Rogers for an alarm in Building C. They found a door broken off its hinges and open but no one inside. Owner Ken Baer said it appeared nothing was missing but he would contact the tire shop owner to check. He secured the door.
