Ruth Holzer
EAST PALESTINE-Ruth A. Holzer, 95 of Moore Lane, passed away at 10:42 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 1st, at the Salem Community Hospital after becoming ill at a nursing home.
Mrs. Holzer was born March 16, 1927 in East Palestine, a daughter of the late Clayton C. and Emma Henderson Huffman.
Her husband, Willard Holzer, preceded her in death as well as a brother, Wilbur Huffman.
She is survived by a daughter, Bonnie Blazak of Beaver Falls, Pa.; and two sons, Willard J. Holzer, at home, and Fred L. Holzer, New Springfield; three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home with Robert J. Helbeck of the First Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will follow in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens, New Waterford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday.
