East Liverpool Police for 12-27

December 27, 2012
The Review

Officers were called by Lenora Giles reporting she was en route to the emergency room where her daughter, Larissa Betteridge, was being treated for a broken jaw after being assaulted by her husband, Steve Betteridge. Simultaneously, Mr. Betteridge was at the police station, reporting his wife came home in a foul mood and assaulted him because he was on the cell phone. Due to their conflicting accounts, and because neither wanted to file charges against the other, officers had them sign a refusal to prosecute form. Both decided to stay overnight at their respective parents' homes.

While a vehicle owned by Acer Leasing LTD was parked on Thompson Avenue Tuesday, it was struck by a hit-skip vehicle which left reddish-colored paint on the bumper.
