LaCROFT - A 21-year-old Lisbon Street man with a history of driving infractions was again arrested by Liverpool Township police following an accident on Duncan Avenue.
According to reports, Seth R. Steele was westbound, looking for his dog when he said he may have fallen asleep, causing his vehicle to slam into the side of an occupied home.
The vehicle came to rest in the driveway.
Police said Steele denied drinking alcohol or using drugs, but a St. Clair Township officer and two paramedics at the accident scene advised he is known to "huff" aerosol dusting spray, according to reports.
A paramedic told officers she had responded to three crashes involving Steele, the last one resulting from him huffing and passing out.
He was charged by township police with driving under suspension, failure to control and no seat belt.
Officers reported that, in addition to this arrest, Steele's record for this year includes a failure to control charge from July 31; OVI and failure to control on Sept. 1; OVI, failure to control, prohibitions and open container on Sept. 17; failure to control, driving under suspension and no seat belt on Nov. 5.
In addition, they reported, he had four juvenile traffic offenses, two speeding charges and another crash from which charges were not reported.
He appeared in Municipal Court Wednesday where a second arraignment was set Dec. 5.
