Vince T. Allison, 45

CHESTER - Vince T. Allison, 45, of Chester, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at his home after a brief illness.

Vince was a son of Sue Linger Allison of Chester and the late Allen Thayer Allison and was born on Jan. 31, 1967, in East Liverpool.

He was employed as a diesel mechanic for L T Harnett Trucking in East Liverpool and was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Chester.

Vince graduated from Oak Glen High School where he was a three year letterman and standout on the Golden Bear football team. He furthered his education at the Ohio Diesel Technical Institute.

A passionate shooter and Harley enthusiast, he belonged to the Hancock County Sportsman's Club and the NRA.

In addition to his father, his brother, Steve Allison, preceded him in death.

Besides his mother, his sister Kathy Allison, of Chicago, also survives along with several close cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Private interment services will take place on Tuesday in the chapel at Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens in Newell with the Rev. Katrina Lewis officiating. The Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester is assisting the family with these services.
