Lisbon Police Reports for 11-19

A sheriff's deputy reported at 10:35 p.m. Friday a possible fight was starting at Nigh Court.

Jessica Combs reported at 11:12 a.m. Saturday her boyfriend Brandon Johnson had been assaulted at 415 East Washington Street by Christian Jessick.

Amy Dyke reported at 1 a.m. Sunday her ex-boyfriend Bill Foster left a harassing note on her vehicle.

EMT Ambulance reported at 11 p.m. Saturday they were en route to a North Market Street apartment for the second time that evening and requested an officer stand by because the man making the 911 calls was talking about how the government was out to get him and he has knives and swords to "take care of the government." Police spoke with the man who appeared intoxicated and advised him not to make ambulance calls when they are not needed.

A woman reported at 11:18 a.m. Sunday she found a bat in Dr. Getzinger's office while cleaning there. The bat was captured and then released on Lions Club Road.

Ken Brenneman reported at 11:29 a.m. Sunday the Wright Buffing building he owns at 300 South Market Street was damaged and it appeared it had been struck by a vehicle.

Someone reported at 8:19 p.m. Friday kids were throwing pumpkins onto East Washington Street.

David Talbott, 22, Y&O Road, Wellsville, was eastbound on East Lincoln Way at 3:25 p.m. Saturday and started from the stopped position at the red light at the Jackson Street intersection and struck James W. Smith, 66, Applegate Road, Lisbon. No citations were issued.
