TORONTO - Paul A. Perun, age 88, of Toronto, passed away Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at the Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville.
Born Jan. 5, 1924, in Toronto, he was the son of the late Edward Paul and Anna Snyder Perun.
He was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church of Toronto. He served his country during W.W. II in the U.S. Navy and retired as a self-employed owner of Paul Perun Accounting in Toronto.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Ann Cadegan Perun; sons, William Paul Perun of Winter Springs, Fla., and Robert Leo "Bullet" Perun of Toronto; daughters, Paula and Ann Marie Perun both of Toronto; and a granddaughter.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, at the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto. Additional visitation will be held Monday, Nov. 12, from 9-10 a.m. at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Toronto.
A Vigil Service will be held 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12, at the St. Francis Catholic Church with celebrant the Rev. Father Thomas Vennitti. Burial will follow at the Toronto Union Cemetery where there will be Military Honors by the Toronto American Legion.
