Nov. 4

7:15 a.m. - Officers were dispatched to 537 Broadway Ave., for vehicular vandalism. Resident Kaylynn Keener told police that between 11 p.m. and 12:05 a.m., a 2003 Buick Rendezvous owned by Brittany Hissom of East Liverpool parked outside the home had been painted green down the vehicle's driver side and on the rear window. The tailgate had also been pelted with eggs. Hissom could not suggest a suspect, but later reported that the mess had been power washed off with no permanent damage.

3:45 p.m. - Dispatch received a call from an off-duty officer for an ambulance at a Clark Avenue residence for a male in the front yard with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. After reviewing the scene, paramedics from Tri-County Ambulance contacted the coroner's office, and additional officers arrived to secure the area. The victim was transported to East Liverpool City Hospital by ambulance.

7:24 p.m. - Officers were dispatched to 1613 Commerce St., where resident Jon Carter told police he discovered $50 cash missing from his wallet. When his girlfriend, Amber Phenicie, returned from taking their children trick-or-treating, Carter told her and suggested she search the house for other missing items. Phenicie said she found several pieces of gold jewelry with an estimated value of $1,500 to $2,000 missing from a jewelry chest. Carter suspects his daughter, Casey Carter, 20, of East Liverpool, who had visited the home earlier in the day.
