CHESTER - Members of the Chester First United Methodist Church, Carolina Ave., are sponsoring the fifth annual "Gowns Galore", a used gown sale, from 5-8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
The sale will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 10 at the church.
For a fee of $5 per dress, area girls are encouraged to bring in gently worn prom/homecoming dresses to be sold at the price they establish. If the dress sells, the seller receives the money
All unsold dresses and/or money for sold dresses must be picked up at the church from 1-3 p.m. on Nov.11. Any unclaimed dresses will be distributed to charity.
Proceeds from this event will be given to Chester/Newell FISH. If additional information is needed, call Sherry at 387-1469.
