Leah Hescht
EAST LIVERPOOL -Leah J. Hescht, formerly of East Liverpool, passed away at 11:50 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012 at the Parkside Health Care Center in Columbiana, following a lengthy illness. She was 83.
Mrs. Hescht was born in East Liverpool on Aug. 16, 1929, a daughter of the late William and Mae Shuman Dailey. She was married to the late Floyd Hescht.

She worked at Madison Hardware in Salineville before returning to the Calcutta area.
There are two daughters surviving, Tina Rae Smith, of East Liverpool; and Shawnee Slagle, also of East Liverpool. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Tamera Emery.
Burial will take place at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
Arrangements are being handled by the Dawson Funeral Home.
