In Columbiana County Common Pleas Court, a ruling was made by Judge Scott Washam clarifying prison time and jail credit for Charles R. Bogart Jr. in three different cases. In total, Bogart has been sentenced to five years in jail and credited with 398 days already served through Sept. 26 for each case for one receiving stolen property charge and 365 days credit for the other two cases for a total of 1,161 days served. Additional credit has been granted for the additional days since Sept. 26.
Bogart, 37, Hazel Run Road, Hammondsville, was sentenced for identity fraud, forgery, two counts of misuse of credit cards and five counts of receiving stolen property in total for the three cases, some involving stolen property of murder victim William Young. Bogart has been named as a person of interest in the death of the Wayne Township man.
