In Columbiana County Municipal Court Tuesday, Jasmine M. Steffey, 20, Morgan Court, Salem, was fined $250 and required 80 hours community service for failure to reinstate a license, tail lights, a seat belt violation and disorderly conduct amended from drug paraphernalia for a razor blade and four straws with suspected drug residue.
In Columbiana County Municipal Court Thursday, Joel D. Possage, 34, Commerce Street, Wellsville, was bound over to the county grand jury on a felonious assault charge following a preliminary hearing.
Possage is accused of threatening to kill his wife and himself at their home in Wellsville on Oct. 4. Court documents state police could hear someone inside the garage racking a shell into a shot gun and while they were talking to him through the garage wall, a shot was fired. The shot reportedly went into a neighboring home about two feet-nine inches above the heads of Police Chief Joe Scarabino and Lt. Justin Wright of the Liverpool Township Police Department.
Bond was continued at $250,000 with the conditions he is to have no contact with Tracy Possage, her children and Patrolman Jeff Weekley. Additionally, he is to have no weapons.
Khalab Y. Bonner, 22, Youngstown, was bound over to the grand jury on a charge of having weapons while under disability for a firearm following a felony drug conviction.
Penny M. Wisbith, 37, Hazel Run Road, Hammondsville, was fined $730, had her license suspended for six month, required 20 hours community service and sentenced to three days in jail for OVI first offense, loud exhaust and failure to control.
Michael R. Miller, 29, state Route 45, Lisbon, was fined $675, had his license suspended for a year, sentenced to 10 days in jail and required 40 hours community service for OVI second offense.
Cheryl A. Gyekenyesi, 45, Strongsville, was fined $425, had her license suspended for six months, required 20 hours community service and sentenced to three days in jail for marked lanes and physical control amended from OVI first offense.
George A. Dickson Jr., 51, Washington Street, Salineville, was found guilty during a jury trial Wednesday and fined $350, sentenced to 29 days in jail and required 40 hours community service for domestic violence for throwing a piece of broken door like a spear and striking Cathy Dickson with it, then threatening to kill her.
Missie M. Faloba, Trinity Church Road, Lisbon, was fined $250, sentenced to 29 days in jail and required 30 hours community service for receiving stolen property for several hundred feet of AT and T copper wire taken last June from the poles on Wayne Bridge Road and recycled.
Roy L. Richards Jr., 51, Homeworth Road, Alliance, was fined $200 and required 20 hours community service for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for picking Brenda Richards up by her shirt, throwing her against the doorway, slamming her against another door, dragging her outside and down the steps on Sept. 17.
Michael E. Baun, 27, Rockhill Avenue, Alliance, was fined $200 and required 20 hours community service for carrying a concealed weapon and improper passing.
Thomas A. Ripley, 18, Prospect Street, Salem, was fined $150 and required 50 hours community service for illegal use of license plates and obstructing official business for fleeing from police early Thursday.
Beau M. McGuire, 35, Gavers Road, Hanoverton, was fined $150 and required 30 hours community service for disorderly conduct amended from assault for biting a Candee Campbell, grabbing her neck and choking her and throwing her onto a bed.
Candee Campbell, 39, Lisbon Canfield Road, Leetonia, was fined $150 and required 30 hours community service for disorderly conduct amended from assault for hitting Beau McGuire in the head while he was driving and striking him with a tire iron taken from the truck.
Joseph W. Ketchum, 27, Fifth Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for theft of slag from a pile near the intersection of County Airport Road and Y and O Road.
Matthew A. Febinger, 31, Columbiana Road, Columbiana, was fined $150 for driving without a license amended from driving under OVI suspension.
Richard D. Lowe, 33, Applegate Road, Salem, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct amended from criminal trespassing for refusing to leave a home on Salem Grange Road, Salem, when asked to do so.
Kimberly I. Mutersbaugh, 46, Nelson Avenue, Lisbon, was fined $150 and required 30 hours community service for theft of nails, light fixtures and brass belonging to Joe Piscitani.
Dominic D. Stacey, 26, East Washington Street, Lisbon, was sentenced to 90 days in jail and fined $150 for taking $268 from Tina Spann's wallet. The jail sentence is concurrent with a 2009 CRB1078 case.
Dakota B. Santee, 18, Goshen Road, Salem, was fined $100 and required 50 hours community service for obstructing official business for running from police in Salem early Thursday.
Gary Mason Jr., 38, Nevada Street, Wellsville, was fined $100 and required 50 hours community service for obstruction of official business for fleeing from Salem police early Thursday.
An Oct. 29 sentencing hearing was set for Courtney A. Wright, 26, last known address Toronto, charged with theft for items reportedly taken from B and K Beverage in Salineville.
A Nov. 19 pretrial was set for Mitchell A. Hill, 28, Ravenna, charged with driving under OVI suspension and failure to display a valid sticker.
A Nov. 20 pretrial was set for Frank Shagnot Jr., 41, Willard Road, Hanoverton, charged with OVI first offense and left of center.
A Nov. 27 pretrial was set for Rebecca A. Meredith, 24, Rose Drive, Lisbon, charged with assault for allegedly punching Jessica Summer in the head and causing injuries to her neck and shoulder during an altercation at the Foxes Den Night Club in Salem on Aug. 18.
A Nov. 27 pretrial was set for Anthony M. Colon, 22, South Union Avenue, Salem, charged with theft for allegedly, along with a co-defendant, taking video games valued at $1,312 from the cases in Wal-Mart on Sept. 4 and leaving the store, before selling a few at Game Stop.
A Nov. 1 preliminary hearing was set in Columbiana County Municipal Court Friday for Lester D. Russell, 31, Commerce Street, Wellsville, who is charged with aggravated robbery. Court documents allege Russell went into McGraw's Drive-Through at 9:54 p.m. Oct. 20, brandishing a pocket knife and demanding money from the register. Bond has been set at $100,000 cash or surety.
Danny F. Mullen Jr., 26, West Martin Street, East Palestine, was fined $825, had his license suspended for six months, required 20 hours of community service and sentenced to three days in jail for OVI first offense and possession of marijuana. A drug paraphernalia charge was dismissed.

Peterson, 22, Aetna Street, Salem, was fined $250 and required 30 hours community service for receiving stolen property for two Blu-Ray movies Peterson checked out of the Salem Public Library, "Shutter Island" and "Killers," both of which were later sold by a woman at GameOn with Peterson present.
James E. Berdine, 19, Sixteen School Road, Irondale, was fined $150 for driving under suspension.
Jason E. Cope, 37, Silliman Street, New Waterford, was fined $130 for no license and speeding.
Bobbi J. Smith, 18, Liberty Street, Salem, was fined $130 for a seat belt violation and drug paraphernalia for a marijuana pipe.
James L. Ray, 29, state Route 558, New Waterford, was fined $110 for driving without a license, traffic control devices and a seat belt violation. Additionally, a Nov. 29 pretrial was set for a possession of marijuana charge.

A Nov. 1 pretrial was set for Stacy, also charged with two counts of receiving stolen property.
A Nov. 27 pretrial was set for Christopher J. Heck, 22, Spokane, Wash., cited with failure to control.
A Dec. 11 pretrial was set for Chad A. Saunders, 33, last known address, Lexington Avenue, Salem, charged with drug paraphernalia for allegedly having a cabinet with the equipment for growing marijuana in his garage.
A Dec. 18 pretrial was set for Hank William Orr, 37, state Route 45, Lisbon, cited with driving under FRA suspension, following too close and a seat belt violation.
A Dec. 20 pretrial was set for Bernard E. Adkins, charged with aggravated menacing for allegedly taking a rifle into a home and demanding to speak with Betty Meek, who was there along with Carl Rouse. While attempting to disarm Adkins, Rouse was reportedly injured. Another man, David Hayes was reportedly struck in the face by Adkins.
A Dec. 20 pretrial was set for Marcus A. Moore, 29, Youngstown, cited with driving under FRA suspension and speeding.
