George Martin
TORONTO - George A. Martin, age 82, of Toronto passed away Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012 at the Trinity Medical Center-West, Steubenville.
He was born June 2, 1930 in Empire, the son of the late Joseph and Lillian Morrow Martin
Mr. Martin was retired from the City of Toronto M and R Street Department.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; five sisters and companion, Florence Weaver.
Mr. Martin is survived by his daughter, Donna Stanley of Steubenville, sisters, Josephine Moore of Toronto; Mary Ann Lewis of Toronto and Joan Jones of Orrville; brother, John Martin of Toronto; and three grandchildren.
Friends and family will gather for visitation from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012 at the Clarke Funeral Home, Toronto.
Service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26 at the funeral home with Pastor Lloyd Hill officiating. Burial will follow at the Island Creek Cemetery, Church Road, Toronto.
