MARTINSBURG, W.VA. - Jack B. Laughlin III, 31, of Martinsburg, passed away Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012.
He was born March 25, 1981, in Beaver, Pa., and was the son of Jack B. Laughlin Jr., and the late Carolyn Lynn Bailey Laughlin.
He was employed by Perkins and Cave as an electrician.
He was a graduate from East Liverpool High School, Class of 1999, and a graduated from Blue Ridge CTC with honors in Electromechanical Technology in 2011.
He was currently seeking a Business degree, and had future plans to become an electrical engineer.
Jack loved mathematics and science as well as playing the guitar. He was a loyal friend to many, and will be greatly missed.
In addition to his father Jack B. Laughlin Jr., he is survived by his grandfather Jack B. Laughlin, of East Liverpool; brother, Michael Laughlin, of Martinsburg; aunts, Dawn Lynn Laughlin Ball, of East Liverpool, Susan Laughlin, of East Liverpool, Diane and husband Billy Kirkpatrick of Frederick, Md.; uncles, Mark Laughlin, of South Carolina, and Rick Tipton, of Hagerstown, Md.
He was preceded in death by his mother Carolyn Lynn Bailey Laughlin, of Martinsburg; grandmothers, Grace M. Laughlin, of East Liverpool, Sally M. Bailey, of East Liverpool; grandfathers, Carl W. Bailey, of East Liverpool, Wilburn Tipton, of Point of Rocks, Md.; aunt, Eve Engle, of Monroe, Mo.; cousin, Tracy L. Kirkpatrick, of Point of Rocks, Md.
Brown Funeral Home of Martinsburg was in charge of the arrangements.
