Christopher B. Straight, 40, Pennsylvania Avenue Extension, was charged Sunday afternoon with domestic violence after officers were called by Crystal L. Baker, 41, same address, who was calling from the former East Elementary School parking lot. She told officers Straight had struck her in the face several times.
Lincoln W. Walters, 49, St. Clair Avenue, was cited Monday morning with assured clear distance after his vehicle reportedly struck another driven by Heidi J. Russell, 50, Calcutta-Smith Ferry Road, while both were southbound on St. Clair Avenue. Russell had reportedly stopped to wait for a turning vehicle when Walters struck the rear of her vehicle.
John L. Steele, 69, Oak Street, Chester, W.Va., was cited for failure to yield Sunday evening after reportedly turning left from Sixth Street onto Broadway and striking a vehicle driven by Holly M. McCartney, 16, Avondale Street. McCartney had the right of way, according to reports.
