WELLSVILLE - The Elks will have fish from 4:30-8 p.m. Friday.

HAMMONDSVILLE - The Brush Creek 50 Plus Club will hold the annual Community Halloween Party from 7-8:15 p.m. Thursday at the Brush Creek Senior Center. The party is for Brush Creek Township area young children under the age of 13. Children must be accompanied by at least one parent. There will be snacks, games and prizes.

EAST LIVERPOOL - The St. Stephen's Church, West 4th Street, is having a Good Shepherd Community Dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The meal is free and includes sub sandwich, beef vegetable soup, cheesy potatoes, Halloween treats for children and a beverage.

COLLIERS, W.V.a. - The Country Friends will host Art Beal and The Country Tradition Band at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Memorial Hall, Old Police Lodge Road.

EAST LIVERPOOL - The Disabled American Veterans City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Chapter Home on Broadway. Veteran's Day will be discussed. American Legion Post 736, Post 374, VFA Post 66 and DAV Chapter 47 are invited.

EAST LIVERPOOL - The John W. Covert Chapter 47 Disabled American Veterans and Auxiliary will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Chapter Home on Broadway.

WELLSVILLE - The Elks is having a Building Fund Chinese Auction and food from 5-7:30 p.m. Saturday.

EAST LIVERPOOL - The Help Me Grow Playgroup will meet from 10-11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Westgate Elementary. For information call 330-424-0288.

EAST LIVERPOOL - "Trunk or Treat" is 1-2 p.m. Saturday at Destiny House, Calcutta-Smith Ferry Road. There will be candy, prizes, food, costumes, and more. For information call the church office at 330-386-5156.

EAST LIVERPOOL - The Second Annual Fall Festival will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Nov. 4 at St. Aloysius School, West Fifth Street, in the school auditorium and cafeteria. Items for sale will be artworks, crafts, jewelery, both handcrafted and from party consultants. There will be an array of candles, fall scents, purses, stained glass, gourmet cupcakes, cake pops, candies, artisan breads, tantalizing hungarian peppers, gorgeous custom handpainted gourds, and even items for your four legged friends.

Lunch will be available and will include steak sandwiches, french fries, hot dogs, cole slaw, baked goods, desserts, pop and water, with a special ice cream treat available for sale from Sweet Scoops Ice Cream Shop. For more information on the festival please contact Chris at 330-385-7962.

LISBON - The First United Methodist Church is holding a bi-annual Christmas Auction Fundraiser, from 2-4 p.m. Nov. 11 at the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center. The cost is $7 per person for adults and $5 for children under twelve. Children under 5 are free. The proceeds from the auction will benefit the church's building fund.

There will be both live and silent auction bidding on numerous holiday items, handmade crafts and gift packages donated from generous local businesses. Entertainment will be provided by The Lisbon Community Chorus and The Stage Left Players. Appetizers and assorted desserts will be served. Call 330-424-5212 to make a reservation by Nov. 1.

EAST LIVERPOOL - There will be a Toys for Tots sign up at the Community Resource Center, Pennsylvania Avenue, for children, ages infant to 14. Information needed will be child's name, age, gender, parent's name, address and telephone number. Bring photo ID and proof of residency. For information, call 330-385-1301.

EAST LIVERPOOL - The Elks Lodge 258, Broadway, will have an all-you-can eat Spaghetti Dinner from 5:30 to 7 p.m. today. Proceeds will go to the Children's Christmas Charities.

EAST LIVERPOOL The East Liverpool Salvation Army will be accepting Thanksgiving and Christmas applications for 43920 residents only. The time is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 22-26. Please bring proof of residency, everyone living in your home, bills and all income. If you have any questions please call the office at 330-385-2086.

CALCUTTA - Ohio Valley Home Health Services is hosting a homemade meatball hoagie fundraiser 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. today. Cost is $6 and includes meatball hoagie with cheese and potato chips. CHESTER - Chaney's Service Station will participate in the W.Va. Lottery Give and Win Food Drive Nov. 5-9. Lottery players that make a non-perishable food donation at participating Lottery retailers will receive one free Lottery promotional instant ticket while supplies last. Chaneys is one of many retailers participating in this event. All proceeds from Chaneys will be awarded to the Chester-Newell FISH organization.
