John Triner, 26, West Terrace Drive, Wellsville, pleaded guilty in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court Wednesday to receiving stolen property for pawning miscellaneous jewelry belonging to Mary Cunningham in October 2010. The jewelry was valued at approximately $1,680. He faces up to a 12 month prison sentence and a $2,500 fine. Sentencing is set for Dec. 17.

Randy D. Phillips, 23, Lake Street, East Palestine, was sentenced to an additional year of probation after stipulating to violating his four-year probation. He had previously pleaded guilty to two counts of vandalism for damage in January 2008 to the brick wall and football field at the East Palestine Schools.

Holly M. Weyand, 27, Chaffin Avenue, East Liverpool, was found in violation of her intervention plan. She was sentenced to five days in jail and three years probation. Weyand previously pleaded guilty to permitting drug abuse and three counts possession of drugs for cocaine and crack cocaine in 2008.
