Officers were advised Monday by Bonnie Shaw, Myler Park Road, that her daughter, Emily Everly, needed to retrieve belongings from her residence but she was concerned that Everly's father would also be there when he was released from jail later that day. The law director was contacted and advised that her father, Scott Shaw, is not to be at the residence due to a domestic violence charge against him and a restraining order in place. Mrs. Shaw asked the officer to check the residence to make sure Mr. Shaw and a woman he had invited were not there. Although the officer found a living room light and television on, no one answered his knock at the door, he reported.
