Lois E. Welch, 85
TORONTO - Lois E. Welch, 85, of Toronto, died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, at Lancia Villa Royale nursing home in Steubenville.
She was born Aug. 19, 1927, in Yellow Creek Township, the daughter of the late Otto and Mary (Burns) Kiddey.
Lois was preceded in death on Dec. 31, 2009, by her husband, David C. Welch, whom she married Nov. 18, 1945.
Lois was a member of New Somerset Christian Church, where she also served as treasurer. She was a homemaker, and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Survivors include three sons: Robert Welch and his wife Sara of New Somerset, Larry Wyand and his wife Cindy of Cummings, Ga., and Mark Wyand and his wife Cindy of North Royalton, Ohio. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Lois was preceded in death by one son: Philip Wyand; and two sisters and three brothers.
The funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Welch of Sugar Grove United Methodist Church officiating.
Friends may call from 2:00-7:00 pm Thursday, Oct., 18, 2012 at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
